Christine Pao

Christine has over 12 years of experience in mental health. She spent many years providing community-based mental health services to children, adolescents, and families. She received her Masters of Social Work from the University of California, Los Angeles.  Christine has spent the last several years as a clinical social worker in a hospital setting providing therapeutic treatment, supporting research, and developing and implementing assessment processes. Her special interests include maternal mental health, various anxiety disorders, and trauma. She uses evidence-based practices and believes in being flexible in order to meet her clients where they are. Additionally, she is passionate about mentoring and teaching young professionals.

Christine was drawn to the assessment side of mental health services in the field of fertility, as she appreciates the complexity and clinical nature of psychological evaluations in the field of fertility. She is an avid consumer of innovative research and literature. She is passionate about the quality of her work and the service she provides to those involved in the family-building arena. Christine is thrilled and honored to support those wishing to have a family and those willing to help others in this journey. She has been a committed member of the team since October 2022.

Christine is licensed in the State of California and a member of the National Association of Social Workers, and has continued her professional growth in the field of infertility through research and involvement as a professional member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, ASRM Mental Health Professional Group, and the Society for Ethics in Egg Donation and Surrogacy.
